ST VINCENT'S HOSPITAL The New South Wales Inpatient Rehabilitation Units
This compendium of Inpatient Rehabilitation Units is a timely and valuable innovative project which identifies the organisation of inpatient rehabilitation for disabled patients in New South Wales hospitals. It has been developed to meet a strong need for information for patients and their families, and for service providers regarding rehabilitation options and availability in their local area. So much can be achieved in rehabilitation if we know where to seek appropriate help. The compendium focuses on both metropolitan and rural hospitals, and is a handy resource for individual cases, service planners and public health administrators across New South Wales. I congratulate all those who have given time and thought to organise and support this project, in particular the New South Wales Branch of the Australian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine. My best wishes to all who use this handy resource, which I hope will expedite care to all those in need.
